Hello! I’m Loren (@HairbyLorenWaugh), a proud Resident Stylist within the So.Boho family.
Since starting my hairdressing journey in 2017 at age 15, I’ve grown into launching my own brand, Hair by Loren Waugh, in May 2023 as a self-employed stylist.
I take pride in being attentive, approachable, and articulate. My clients often describe me as having a ‘warm and kind energy,’ ‘unmatched attention to detail,’ and an ability to 'understand the vision and deliver every time.’ While I offer a full range of hairdressing services, I specialise in technical colour work, including blonding and balayage. For me, hairdressing is about more than just creating beautiful hair—it’s about making a positive impact and building meaningful connections with my clients. Whether we’re sharing a cup of tea (and maybe some cake) during an appointment, or simply just chatting away, these relationships mean the world to me. My devotion to the hair world runs deep, and I always say the day I stop loving what I do will be the day I step away.
My passion for hairdressing shines through in both my social media presence and my dedication to competitions, which I truly enjoy. I’ve been honoured as a Regional Finalist in Wella competitions, a finalist in the British Hairdressing Business Awards, and a finalist for Top 20 Hair Stylists of the Year at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2024. I've also been featured multiple times on Wella’s social media platforms and recently had my finalist status highlighted in the local newspaper. I'm excited to share that I’ve been shortlisted once again for Hairstylist of the Year and Best for Blonde at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2025.
Reflecting on my journey, I’m filled with gratitude for every challenge, client, and lesson that has shaped me into the hairstylist I am today. It’s been a path of enthusiasm, creativity, and connection, and I couldn’t have reached this point without the incredible clients who’ve trusted me with both their hair and their stories. Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore new techniques, meet more inspiring individuals, and one day perhaps mentor the next generation of hairstylists.

From the age of 19, I discovered my passion for makeup, realizing it offered me the freedom to reinvent my look anytime. Makeup quickly became my obsession, and in 2005, I qualified as a makeup artist. Since then, I’ve honed my skills and knowledge through my work with MAC, progressing steadily through the company. In 2007, I transitioned from a MAC employee to a freelance makeup artist, working in the editorial, music, television, and bridal industries. I continue to work as a self-employed makeup artist.

My journey as a stylist has been a total dream come true. From the first time I picked up a pair of shears, I knew I wanted to be the person who helps people see their own beauty. Fast forward a decade (plus a little change!), and that spark is still there. Whether we are chasing the perfect sun-kissed blonde, taming a wild mane, or going for that 'big chop' you’ve been dreaming of, I’m here for all of it.
I believe your time in my chair should be the best part of your week. It’s a mix of professional expertise, honest 'hair-talk,' and maybe a little bit of laughter along the way. Think of me as your hair’s best friend and your personal hype-person all rolled into one. I’ve spent 13 years refining my craft so that you don't have to worry about a thing—just sit back, relax, and let's make some hair magic happen!

Hey my name is Ellie and I’m very proud to call the beautiful SO-BOHO salon my home! I can’t wait to welcome new and existing clients into a safe space for community, connection and of course great hair!
With almost a decade of experience using local, organic professional products to create Luxury Colour and Healthy Hair I continue to love formulating personalised colours with the condition and long-term health of your hair at the heart of every appointment.
I am also a creative ambassador for Organic Colour systems; working alongside other inspiring creatives and business owners I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
I’m your girl for not only precision cutting, creative colouring and styling but also breathtaking bridal hair and joyful kids cuts!
For me, hairdressing is about more than just hair, I can’t wait to see you on your Hair by Ellie journey!

Hi, I’m Scott and I’ve been hairdressing for over 25 years. I trained and worked in London, including Rush Hair of Covent Garden, Sassoon Salons and Sassoon Academies in Mayfair before moving to the South Coast with my beautiful family.
When sitting in my chair, you can expect to feel very relaxed, comfortable and welcome whilst I attentively listen to your needs. My focus is to ensure that you get a bespoke look that’s easy to manage, enhances your face shape, suits your lifestyle and grows out beautifully.
Every appointment starts with a thorough consultation because listening is always at the heart of creating something that is individual to you.
I work with all hair types and textures, from straight to waves, curls to coils, and Afro-textured hair. I really love the unpredictability and movement of curls, so whether it’s sleek and polished, or big and bouncy that you’re after, I’ve got it covered.
For me, it’s not just how you leave the salon, but how you manage and continue your hair journey at home.

With extensive experience in the hair industry, my passion lies in creating beautifully considered, bespoke hair with a particular love for French hand-painted colour, dimensional blondes, brunettes and ettortless, lived-in results. My journey in the industry has ultimately led me to Lock Hair Artistry, where I'm able to bring together my approach to colour, creativity and client experience
My approach to colour is all about working with the individual rather than following a one size fits all formula. Keeping the condition and long-term health of the hair at the heart of every service is paramount to me.
I work with Kevin Murphy as my colour range of choice, alongside Christophe Robin as my core product range for nurturing, refining and maintaining beautiful hair between appointments.
For me, one of the most rewarding parts of being a hairdresser is the relationship that develops with my clients. Getting to know you, your lifestyle and what makes you feel your best allows me to create hair that not only looks beautiful when you leave the salon, but feels right for you every day.

I’m an experienced hairstylist and colourist with a lifelong passion for hair. My love for hairstyling began at an early age, from styling my dolls’ hair to experimenting with different looks on friends and family. It was always clear that hairdressing was more than just an interest — it was something I wanted to pursue and develop into a career.
Over 15 years ago, I studied Ladies Hairdressing at Bournemouth & Poole College before beginning my professional career in a Paul Mitchell salon shortly after qualifying. It was during this time that I developed my signature blow-dry brush set that has since become one of my most recognisable and sought-after services.
My education and development didn’t stop after qualifying. Throughout my career, I have continued to invest in my skills, keeping up to date with the latest techniques, trends and industry developments. My wealth of experience, combined with a meticulous attention to detail, allows me to create personalised results that make every client feel their very best.
I take great pride in my work and I’m passionate about providing a high-quality, personal experience for every client. My priority is ensuring that each person leaves the salon feeling confident, happy and completely satisfied with their hair.
I specialise predominantly in ladies hairdressing, with a particular passion for creating beautiful, long-lasting blow-dries. I also offers haircuts, bespoke colour services, balayage and hair extensions, tailoring every service to suit each client’s individual style, hair and lifestyle.

Hello, I’m Monique
With nearly 30 years of living and breathing the hair industry. I pride myself on creating bespoke haircuts, personalised hair colourations and expertly tailored hair extensions.
Throughout my career I have worked alongside a multitude of professional haircare and colour brands.
Today I utilise Kevin Murphy as my core range, their multidimensional colour finishes and nurturing products are a no brainer for me and
my clients.
Racoon hair extensions are my extensions of choice, from a wide array of different shades and textures I find they deliver the results all my clients are looking for from added thickness to elongated length
